University of Florida or Florida State University?
Hello Im a senior in high school, have a 3.0 gpa out of 4.0 nad 3.6 gpa weighted, had pre-ib and ap classes, 400 hours of community service, im in the class of 2008, NHS, FBLA, Student Council, Aspira club tresurer, Im also in Golf and Tennis. I am also a dual enrollment student in PBCC. do you think i will have a chance of getting in to FSU or UF?

It sounds like you’re pretty active in the community so that helps. Write a really good essay about all of the experience you’ve gained from being so active and how much you’ve contributed, etc. You should apply to both colleges. It’s hard to say which one you’ll get into. It’s easier to get into FSU. Sometimes UF will accept you only if you agree to start in the summer. I think that if you want more of a change of scenery from Palm Beach, Tallahassee would be an interesting place to live, it kind of feels like Georgia at times and theres more diversity.
I went to both of these Universities. They both have their ups and downs.
