Studying and Reading for College Classes?
Hi I’m a junior at college and lately I have been having trouble studying and reading… for reading should i highlight or outline the chapter? which is better for studying? when i outline a chapter it takes me days because the chapters are long…

it depends what works best for you. a lot of my friend highlight so when test time comes it’s easier to go back and find important information
i usually make flashcards (at http://www.flashcardexchange.com ) and study with those periodically throughout the semester

I always read the book before we go over it in class and highlight what I think is important. Usually just takes an hour of my time. Then whatever I don’t know in class I take notes on. Usually makes studying for the exam a lot easier, but I often do get bored in class because I start drawling in my note book going, “yeahhhh knew that….already knew that….” because I already read it. But it works for me I have a 3.9 GPA
