State University vs. Technical college… What would you do in my case?
I’ve finished one year in a state University. My parents are no longer paying for my college so I’m deciding if i should transfer my credits to a tech college to save me money. I know people don’t generally regard tech education nearly as well as university but this is where it gets tricky. My plans in 3 years is to move to New Zealand and eventually open my own business so I feel that it is more about what I learn than how much I pay for the name since it probably wont mean much anyways internationally. What should I do?

I would say stick with the State University. 3 years is a long time and a lot of things can happen between now and then. Due to some unforeseen situation, it may be that you actually don’t end going to New Zealand. If that’s the case then the degree from the State U will be better for you when trying to land a job.
