Should I take a course my dean is teaching?
My dean is teaching a course, and I have signed up for it, but am having doubts. I am worried about getting a bad grade because I’m under the impression that the dean’s class would be more difficult than other classes. What do you recommend? Should I remain in this class or should I drop it?

YOu will never know till you are there. Remain in the class and do your best. This is a great opportunity to impress and prove yourself academically to your dean. Later on, you might need his references or recommendation. Now, he or she can really write a personalized one since he will get to know you more during the class. So stay.
