forcing kids to shower at school in front of one anouther is not right?
i need to know if the school can force my child to shower in school in front of everyone in her class and also dress in front of every one i think it bs they are telling them if they dont they can flunk them out of pe and get no credits for that class no matter how well they do they will flunk out and can take it agian but will be flunked out if the dont shower everyday i dont think its right to force kids to expose themselfs naked to 15 other kids in there class noone wantes to be forces to shower and dress in front of a room full of other people i know i dont are there any web pages or laws preventing this because im going to fight it its bullshit to force them to do this

in my school the boys are required to shower (because they are the ones that stink afterward and cause disruptions in class because of it) but because they only give us about 7-10 minutes to change and get ready to leave for the next class they only have to rinse off their hair and wash their bodies. even though they are required to shower they are allowed to wear trunks if they feel uncomfortable (most of them don’t have a problem with it but they do have the option)

Sounds like BS to me too. PE has nothing to do with showering in front of others. Once a child leaves the gym and goes into the locker room grading should stop. The child will probably be asked to dress out (change into gym clothes), which is reasonable because proper attire allows for proper movement and stretching which will reduce injuries. But a child should not be forced to shower naked. The only way I can see them getting away with this is if they count hygiene as part of the grade, even then the student should be allowed to wear a swim suit or something of the like.
I would fight it too.

I’m surprised to hear that. I thought the schools would have come up with a better rule for showering. It was like that when I was in school years and years ago and I hated it. The PE teacher peeked in the stall which had no curtain just to make sure we were nude and we had to buddy up with someone. How embarrassing!

No.But most do exactly that since JFK started the big exercise our youth kick inthe early 1960’s.Speak up.Alway thought that smacked of concentration camp imagery and practice.ps thae teacher doesn’t realize that many phy ed. teachers bully kids into the shower.You have to take a stand.Don’t let your kid do it.Too big for a child to buck the system.

well i don’t know if they can make your child do that but i would recommend you to talk to the principal because if you’re child is embarrassed but i don’t think that they can flunk your child for not taking a shower that’s insane if she doesn’t want to take a bath then i suggest you to talk to the principal or the umm district but even though i don’t know the answer i am sure that they can’t threaten your child like that

Why are you so opposed to nudity? There is nothing wrong with being nude around others and in a school situation I am sure it is only girls in the girls locker room and boys in the boys locker room.
Actually it makes me ill the way some people are so afraid of being nude or seeing nude people…there are many instances of nudity in the Bible even and God has no problem with nudity. In fact the first thing He said to Adam and Eve was, “Who told you that you were nude?” after they had eaten of the forbidden fruit and God was looking for them. God actually designed us to be nude!

You should tell your child to accept that she and the others in the locker room are nude and do as she is required. She will not be harmed by the experience!
