Should I change my major?

I’m a freshman at a community college taking liberal arts and I want to change my major.

Even though I’m not sure which major to choose or be right for me I want to change it because I don’t want to be wasting time , instead I want to choose my major right away so it won’t take longer than what it takes.

but the problem here is that Im interested in law , and I’m also interested in business but Im weak at math .

I don’t know what major to choose , I want to choose something that can get me good jobs in the future.

If you don’t know what you want to major in you shouldn’t pick one yet. Take a broad variety of gen ed classes that will allow you sample a range of disciplines. Then pick the one that you are most passionate about. The worst thing you can do is pick a major now that you decide you don’t want halfway through your junior year. That will cause you to take college longer than it should

My boyfriend got a business degree and he also is weak at math. There are many subcategories of a business major, so you can choose which aspect interests you most.

Don’t feel like you’re wasting your time as a freshman with a liberal arts major. You’ll be taking care of those pesky elective credits so you can focus on what you want later.

It probably doesn’t matter a whole lot at this stage unless your CC has requirements about making progress, or if it helps you get into classes. It’s more a state of mind.

Make progress toward what you are interested in, get your G.E.s out of the way, and then make a decision. You can probably make progress toward both a political science/history program as pre-law as well as toward business, all of which will apply to your general education requirements.

Unless you want to totally commit to studying law, I would suggest the buinees major. It is very flexible, and there are a plethora of jobs available for someone with that degree.

Business is a good major. You can do a lot of different things with that degree, from marketing to starting your own business.
