schools in new york with a strong science department?
I live on Long Island and would really perfer to stay relatively close so i wouldn’t have to pay room&board when i go away to college. I’m really interested in becoming a vet and I really love biology so I want to attend a school with a strong science department. I know that Hofstra is a good school but I don’t know much about it. Thanks for any information you have.

How about Adelphi–SUNY Stony Brook–NYU,
They all are famous for their strong science crriculum.
