Question about college classes?
Okay, so what do I do if for my major, which is sociology – the criminology option at CSUN, the classes required are like level 300-400. I was never really good in school do I don’t know what to do. Do I go for it and study my butt off? As of now I am undecided because I didn’t know they had the program there. Or do I just major in something else?

Classes in your major will always be Junior / Senior level. The first two years satisfy basic requirements of a Bachelor’s degree and pre-requisites.

Self talk needs to be positive. Don’t short change yourself. You are studying in an area that you like. When you have to study, remember that you like this and can do well.
It doesn’t matter what degree you are in, upper level class are required. I know as I have been there. The work is very much worth it. People tend to do better in subject areas they like.
Please look in the mirror. I predict you will see a motivated, bright young person that is willing to work hard!!!
Good Luck!!!

Try to do it! Do you work, study your butt off! If you don’t get it or if you’re having trouble you can always go to the professor for help or get a tutor. You don’t want to live the life of coulda, shoulda, woulda. Henry Ford said, “Whether you think you can or you think you can’t, you’re right.”
