Planning on, Are goin to, Have gone to….Art School?
im 18 so when should i apply what do i neeed to have before i even start looking, i know i need a portfolio. i still have no idea though where i wanna go theres so many that i dont even know of yet, i just know of a few schools. And also would it be more expensive or cheaper to go to a shool in italy my other options would be in nyc or in nj

Check out the schools no later than your summer vacation before you are a senior. You will need to get portfolios in to the schools you are interested in by December at the latest. They award scholarships etc. starting in January. The sooner you apply, the better your chances. Find out what your schools will accept for portfolios, some will take digital etc. Don’t forget Baltimore, MICA is pretty good.
