If you have all the money in the world I’d say go for it. If you are going to have to take out student loans to pay for Phoenix then I would do the following exercise:

1. Figure the cost for 2 or 3 schools, add up exactly how much your tuition, fees, books, lab or technology costs, etc. would cost for you for the ENTIRE FOUR YEARS for all three schools.

2. Figure out the amount of loans you have to borrow to cover your costs for each school.

3. Consider your total debt relative to your desired career. I’ve always heard you should expect to earn at least your debt annually upon graduation. Example: If you graduate as a doctor with a debt of $180,000 then its okay bc you will expect to earn that much your first year. Graduate with a debt of $180,000 qualified to be a school teacher might be a little iffy if you won’t earn that upon graduation.

This is an okay rule but mine is easier: don’t borrow your first two years of undergrad, period!! Anything else after that is okay. I don’t know exactly what % it is, but I’d say more than half of all students drop out before their third year. If you do this -(because life happens) you will have all that debt and no degree.

Don’t get distracted by those “convenient times, and get a degree quick sales pitches” some private schools push. Most community colleges and even universities now have a ton of online classes and accelerated programs to get your degree fast.

Good Luck!!

One friend I know was asked at an interview by an employer if he would consider transferring to any other school to complete his bachelor’s degree.

Those schools with track education do not prepare you the same way as a more traditional school. They primarily focus on what you put into it in terms of research papers. There is very little real life application to the course content.

I’d recommend pursuing a school where you choose your courses each semester and pursue a traditional bachelor’s degree.

Although I took half of my courses online through my college (www.davenport.edu), I had 30 classes to take between my associates and bachelors and in the process, I have a better overall understanding of certain principles that will help me in my career.

The hyperlinks below are the suitable possible you will locate. They comprise greater hyperlinks to many nicely-respected state college distance preparation classes by using which you will extremely be waiting to end your degree. i could advise you to initiate by looking at your very own state college equipment and examine to be sure in the event that they supply the classes and classes in which you have an pastime. If not, check out those of alternative states.(Pennsylvania and Maryland have great structures, working example.) a level from a state college would be recognized and respected as genuine by employers and lecturers everywhere.
