pharmacy school with bachelors in philosophy?
I’ve read at a lot of places that they do accept bachelors of philosophy, and some places just don’t mention it. I’m hoping someone will know and help me out because I am very interested in philosophy and my goal is to become a pharmacist one day, this way I will enjoy it even more, Any help will be greatly appreciated =) Thanks!!!

As long as you have completed all of the required prereqs, they don’t care. The required prereqs will get you half way to either a chemistry, biochemistry, or biology degree. Just remember only overall about one third of applicants are accepted, and so, you should have a back-up plan.

Most pharmacy schools probably will accept your philosophy major, but as a compromise you’ll no doubt have to take most of the undergrad science and math courses that would be missing from the philosophy major.
I know somebody that is currently getting a second degree, this one in physics at UT, but because he originally graduated with a bachelor’s in government he had to actually take some required core science and math classes at a nearby community college.
BTW getting a career in pharmacy is an outstanding choice. Great pay, great demand, and great job security. What a bonus that you want to so much be in that career too. Hope this helps.

Your math and technological know-how grades (that would be the concentration of admissions) are not that great. in case you think of you may get a great math and technological know-how gpa, then decide for it. incredibly do examine, functional journey gets you a strategies.
