This year I decided to either live on-campus or off-campus. I will be sophmore. The advantages of living closer to campus will far outweight advantages of living with parents which are just savings (anyway living off-campus can be ever half of on-campus). I live near Chicago. I’ve applied for on-campus 5 weeks ago and I am still on waitlist. The school will start in sept 4th. I am not sure if I should look for off-campus housing now for sept 1st or wait 2 weeks after school starts and by this time try to find off-campus apartment by the end of september. Should it get myself studio or 2 bedroom and find a roomate or look for roomates who have available space. I really look forward to not only learn but also get socialized. I look forward to improve my fluency in English and have friends for fun and friends with whom I could study.

In addition, my family, especially my mother and my older sister don’t want me to get on-campus housing. But I am adult and I should be able to make
