NYU HELP, please! I need to know which colleges accept highschool AP credits!? Please help me out!?

Okay, well i know some schools dont accept AP credits from highschools, like if you did well on the AP tests…

is there a website i can go to to see which colleges accept them and which dont? Maybe the only accept certain classes or certain grades? I have not made below a 4 on any of the ones i have taken…

Does anybody know if NYU accepts AP classes? I dont know if it does since it’s a private school…

any help would be appreciated…

Most schools will accept some AP classes, as long as you get high scores (4 or 5). NYU accepts almost all AP’s, but not necessarily for required credit (you can’t get out of certain freshman or gen. ed courses). They also do not accept the AP English exams (composition or literature), but other than that, it depends on the college (in NYU) you go to. I took AP Composition, Literature, Statistics, Calc BC, Computer Science II, European History, US History, Psychology, and Biology, and I got credit for everything except my English courses. The history exams are especially useful if you want to major in history in CAS, because it gets you out of a lot of required courses. Usually, since NYU is primarily liberal arts, Calculus and a science course such as Bio will get you out of the required math and science–unless you go to Steinhardt, in which case the required math (quantitative reasoning) is required no matter what. I would contact your division within NYU for further questions.

Try www.collegeconfidential.com

I just found out about this on Yahoo Answers.

Where has this info been all my life!

Also found out about www.assessmentpsychology.com here, too. A great site that translates SAT/ACT scores into IQ scores.
