i bought a car (2nd hand) in our company. they sell it because that car was used by the former manager of our company (under the name of our company of course). i paid the said car in installment basis and i’ve finished my monthly payment last august. 7, 2007. so i have to write a letter to the manager to transfer the car under my name (because up to now it is under our company name). they said they will transfer it to my name if i finished my monthly payment. how can i tell him that its about time to transfer it under my name?

I have made all payments as requested to purchase the (name the car). Please do a transfer of the title to me as soon as you can so that I may plate and insure it.

I have completed the payments required for the purchase of the ( add make, model and year of car). I am at this time requesting that the title of said car be transferred into my possesion. The payments were completed on August 7, 2007 as was agreed upon.

Simple. Written request including original agreement to sell (company’s agreement to sell it to you), your record of payments (including the final payment), and a request for the signed over title (signed by them, indicating they have sold it to you.) They should cooperate fully with this direct form of request. Then, of course, you need to go to your states BMV and get a clear title and registration in your name.

you can say under our agreement the car would be tranfered into my name when i finished my monthly installments. As of august 7th all has been paid.

i dont really understand. you said you need to write a letter….so i would just do that? or go up to your boss and say. HEY i finished paying off the car, so i need the name changed?
