Life’s got me down, what should I do today?

Hi all,

My drama. I’m applying to grad school

School #1: I was accepted a long time ago, but I deferred my admission to the Spring. The school sends me a letter saying I deferred my application and they’ll send me a decision after they review my file. HELLO, I’ve already been accepted. Do the different departments even communiate?! That frustrated me. And then they never answer the phone, so I can’t get any answers.

School #2: I applied online. They didn’t print out my personal statement and resume. Is that my fault? NO. So I had to email it to them. Then they lost my GMAT scores. The on top of all of that my second recommender is M.I.A.. he is very reliable so now I’m worried something happened to him, and I’m still worried because they won’t process my app until he sends the letter. I talked to him FIFTEEN days ago. He said he would send it that day.

Life: My birthday was the other day. I was sick all day. I’m still sick. My right arm, hand, and wrist are in pain.

DEFINATELY rest, become less angry, watch a movie

Oh yeah, Happy Birthday!!! Your probably younger than me, so just think, in 10 years, you wont even remember all this even happened. Just keep following your dreams no matter what.

Happy Belated Birthday…

Your obviously not feeling well and working on your essay will not prove to be most productive. It is better to just rest and losen up a bit. You have time for work later when you can think more clearly.

Stretch out with a tray of crackers, hot soup, hot tea and mini sugar cookies. Something so you don’t have to get up. Take in some comedy DVD movies on hand. If you don’t have any ask a friend if you can borrow some.

Get to feeling better soon ..I’m sure everything will work out fine in the end.

tell me about it. college is hard and it can be tougher when little things like not picking up a call and helping u gets you more stressed. i just started college and im so stressed out and i barely went in yesterday. i had to buy 7 books, they were expensive and now im going to start working. even if u try relaxing it won’t help. i’ve had a huge headache since yesterday of just thinking about this all day. good luck with everything.

Pray, sound you are really stress out, try to do one time at the time a be patient application process is long and hard, listen some music, sleep or just do somethin you like for 2 hours….good luck

wow i hate days like that…i get so stressed out that i become physically sick from it…the best thing to do is to take your mind off of the drama and relieve your stress or vent your anger…if you have energy to burn, go workout or talk to someone or write in a journal if you have one…otherwise, just take a hot bath or something and relax…i know nothng will get you in a happy mood but at least try not to stress about it as intensely…i hope it all works out in the end for you!

You need a break. Take a nap, watch a movie, let your brain relax. To ease your mind maybe drop your second recommender an e-mail or voicemail just to say they the school hasn’t received your letter.

Every once in a while you need to recharge. This sounds like one of those times. Enjoy it!!!

Yeah, during an essay can still stress you out.

Watch a movie that really lift your spirits. Comedy or whatever, just do something that you know you will enjoy.
