Fifteen credits isn’t the end of the world. Were you going part-time, or is it simply due to the developmental courses? (I had to take them for math; it’s not uncommon, so I wouldn’t worry) Unless you’re an A student that does not have to work, I strongly advise against taking 19 credits! I took 17 last term and thought I’d lose my mind trying to get it all done and keep a perfect gpa.

Pursuing a degree is a great accomplishment. If you have the drive, even a slow start won’t be able to keep you from achieving your goals. See a counselor and work out a personal plan for finishing your two year and transferring.

19 credits sounds like a heavy load for you.

Stick with some developmental English classes next semester, that’s for sure.

You should get your associate’s from CC before transferring. That way you can be sure that everything will transfer and you can save money too. Plus, if something happens and the four year school doesn’t work out you still have the associate’s degree to fall back on.

With such bad spelling your lucky you even got into a community college. Some Community colleges are no different than any other college (despite the stereotype) they are just less expensive because they are subsidized, and they are usually only 2 yr schools but they don’t pressure you to graduate in a certain amount of time. As far as education they can be just as intense or more than any elite school. I suggest you take as many of your elective classes as you can at the CC to save money but make sure they are transferable. Not all classes are.
