Its me!

Ive been offered 40% scholarship to Stanford and 100% to Georgia University: which should I take?!?

I don’t want to have to take out a loan for school, but I can’t afford to pay the balance of Stanford’s fees. Whats should I do?!

I recommend the full-ride to Georgia. It is no fun exiting college already thousands of dollars in debt.

I might sound great to say, “Yes, I graduated Stanford.”, but for many degrees it isn’t essential. Some jobs might be more impressed with your ability to receive a full scholarship and the financial wisdom you show in taking it.

Be glad, you’ve been given opportunities so many would love to have. When I was collage age, my folks made too much for me to get scholarships and too little to afford college.

If you can’t get a grant to make up the difference at Stanford, then I’d say go to Georgia assuming they both offer the degree you’re interested in. Leaving college with 0 debt will give you more opportunities and peace of mind later. Paying years of student loans is a pain! See this article:

Always avoid debt.

Check into other financial aid for Stanford. Visit Georgia and if you like the University go there.

i know everyone says to follow your heart but dont. follow your head. how many people get a full paid scholarship to a top notch university like stanford? this is a once in a lifetime opportunity. you cant let someone hold you back. that doesnt mean you have to break up with her. go long distance or bring her with you. if you guys were meant to be, then it shouldnt be a problem. she would be selfish to not let you take this opportunity and you would be stupid to throw away all your hard work.

Simple: If you cannot afford Stanford or don’t want to pay that much then you go to Georgia!

The best alternative could be Goergia after checking your financial base because if you go to Stanford the biggest percentage you will foot it by yourself.
