Kids are not going to ear lots of money working, but working is a good idea for them because the less free time they have the less opportunity they have to spend money. So if the kid is working on the weekend he or she is not going to party or whatever out there. There are tons of other good reasons too for them to take employment.

Working part-time allows you to become efficient at micro-managing your own time, learning how to cope with the responsibilities of earning an hourly pay while studying for your classes. This builds great character. Instead of say becoming the wreck that some students become when they graduate and, having no previous work experience of any kind, are suddenly thrown into such a serious environment and can’t cope with it.

Working teaches you how to interact on a more intimate level with teammates, and you get to realize how different people are and how you have to adjust to their various aspects. It’s one thing to interact with students that you see maybe once or twice a week for 10 minutes in class (and who more than likely are like you in most ways), it’s another to be seeing your coworkers on a possible daily basis who range from the young to the old, each of them no doubt having very different personalities.

Working also makes you realize, especially if it’s a poor paying job, why you’re getting a college education in the first place, so that you can find a career instead of a job and be paid well for it.

Many studies show that students who work part time actually get better grades. 10 hours a week is about right. The theory is that it helps students stay on a schedule.

When choosing between jobs – Federal Work Study is always better than a non-work study job because the earnings from a FWS job don’t count against the student the following year when the school figures out how much need based aid the student is eligible for.

Not really good. Working students have hard time concentrating on their studies of course, due to work loads and worse if there is pressure in his or her job. The result, lower grades and lesser units earned during that particular semester or school year.

Work builds character and facilitates learning by real world experience.

Look at it this way, also. Although some people say that it’s “too much,” time is better spent working than it is partying.

Ya, earning is always good.

It provides u your pocket money, also makes you self-helpful & independent, you will be little experienced with job-world.

Earn & save money. Bcoz Money Matters All.
