A college degree shows you have accomplished something in the work world. Try the not-for-profit sector, they often hire young people right out of college.

You might want to apply to music related industries, too, but sure you can get an office job (all you need to be an administrative assistant is a degree in ANYTHING). Say that you love music but are now looking for a full-time job.

My husband studied music but works as a bookkeeper. He does just fine, but I think he will ultimately get a doctorate in music and try to teach on the university level. It isn’t worthless, that’s just silly.

You might have an advantage in the music industry. But if you want to work in a feild not related to music, your degree is pretty much worthless.
