They do (hopefully) shower daily.

Third year living in a girl’s wing of a dorm and I’ve never seen anyone running around naked. When the girls go to shower, they’re always wearing either lounge-wear, a house-coat or a towel.

Living in dorms, I think, is great, especially your freshman year. Although being thrown onto a floor with dozens of girls you’ve never met can be overwhelming, you quickly make friends, many of whom last a very long time.

The appearance of the dorm will always depend on your college (you can probably get a brief description on their website). If you have a roommate, it is not going to be very private. Guys are usually pretty open about walking around in their underwear in front of other guys, but for the most part, when you are in college, you will want as much privacy as possible — you can change in the shower, bathroom stall, your room. I walked from the bathroom to my room in a towel on a regular basis. Living in a dorm is a decent experience… but you will have limited space and it will probably be loud.

LOL. Sir, you do not need to worry. What happens in most college dorms is sitting on bean bags watching Gilmore Girls while eating a cup of easy mac. I don’t know where you would get the impression that all the girls in a dorm would be nude.

I only got nude to shower and change. That is all.

You may have no choice but to allow her to live in a dorm. Some schools require all students Fr and SO. years live in the dorms unless they live within a certain distance of the school. I lived in a co ed dorm and it was no big deal we were seperated by floors. My college had a all girls dorm and they were always sneaking guys in and doing their thing. I understand your worries just hope she meets good character people.

I don’t know how some of these people showered, but I haven’t seen anyone naked and I’ve lived in the dorms for three years so far. If she wants to be discrete, she easily can be, and I’ve found that everyone else feels the same way. She will be fine!

im a junior in college. stayed in the dorms freshman year. Saw a lot of naked girls and girls saw a lot of naked me. So yes. If you are worried about that (which you shouldnt be), do not send her to a dorm.

Not really. There might be several girls in the shower rooms at the same time, but most tend to cover up. Mostly it’s a lot of shorts and Ts in warm weather and jeans and sweats in colder weather.

Generally guys have to wait downstairs in the waiting area.

There is less nudity in real life than you see on movies…

guess it depends what dorm though… ask previous students if you can.
