UCSB is a great school though. Three faculty members were awarded Nobel Prizes while I was student there and one professor was awarded some kind of special millennium technology prize. The campus is also beautiful, located right off the Pacific Ocean, with excellent weather and a friendly atmosphere. I suppose the school does earn its reputation as a party school, but it really is full of hard-working students and faculty, and is a wonderful place to go to college.
