Will I get accepted?

So, hey everyone. I’m applying to lots of hard schools like Boston College, Boston University, Vassar College, Bowdoin College, Barnard College, and Northeastern University.

Here’s my bio:

African-American female who ranks in the top 11% of class, holds a 96.1 weighted GPA and 93 unweighted GPA. I’ve made 3’s on my AP English Exam and AP World History. I made a 24 the first time I took the ACT but I took it again to see if I will do better. I’m in National Honor Society, Math Honor Society, Girls Service League, and Student Council. I’m president of Gallery Arts and committee chairman of another club.

Based on the info what are my chances of getting in??

Thanks for all your replies! 🙂

I’m a high school senior myself. My friend who was a senior last year is attending BC this year. I think he ranked in the top 5 % of his class and had an SAT over 2200 so probably equivalent to a 30 something on the ACT. Looking at your resume briefly, it looks like you have a fairly rigorous courseload and a good GPA. I’m sure colleges would like to see those AP exam grades a little higher, but I’m sure that will not have an impact. It seems like you are pretty involved and may be considered a minority at most of the schools (which doesn’t hurt). I think your chances are fairly good, although I’m sure you need to approve on your ACT score or take the SAT’s instead maybe. Well, good luck.

Theres no gaurentee.

Your class rank and GPA are good, b ut you activities need to seem more pretentionous (add the number of years you have been in them) and you need a better ACT score. Probably better than thirty.

I would say you are a slam dunk for any of those schools. I remember waiting around for letters of admission (did it twice), it was excruciating. The extracurricular activities help alot. You were already strong before that.

You will get in to at least half of those or I would be shocked
