The information you have is dated at best, and biased at worst.

The *starting*, *average* salary ranged from 8-15 lakhs, for the first year only, and that too, about 4 years back.

Bonuses account for an additional *average* 2-6 lakhs at the end of the first year.

Salary raises are very good for ISB graduates, ranging from an average of 15-30% per year.

You do the math.

So far, I’ve spoken about average salaries, bonuses and raises, of a few years back, not about the higher end numbers, and not about the latest salaries.

I personally know several people who started at 20 lakhs and some who even started at 80 lakhs. An ISB education, though *VERY*, *VERY* hard and intensive (*much* more so than the IIMs), is definitely worth it.
