I would say it is worth it, make sure to select an institute that offers scholarship and is within a reasonable budget and yet still has some recognition. I would also recommend doing a specialization within your MBA because and MBA is so general that when applying to jobs you can differentiate yourself by specializing in marketing, finance, or even management information systems. Another option which is what I did to not be in debt with paying for my MBA, is I went to an institute and got a managerial type position that offered tuition reimbursement and therefore did not pay for my MBA at all…except for a few fees. And yet, I was able to get the management experience and degree that when I finished I was able to obtain a good job very quickly. Good luck!

My husband finished his 1 year ago and is now earning great money, but it cost a lot and we will be paying it of for a while, try and get a scholarship if you can but it is definitely worth it. You will have great fun doing the MBA then when you finish you will have great job opportunities and friends and contacts for life.
