If on a college profile, it says that the percent of applicants is ‘not reported’, is that good or bad?

I was looking at some fashion schools on a site were you can search the school that you are looking for and it gives you a full profile on that school and some information on it. But on some of the schools that I searched it gave me a percentage of the applicants that were admitted, for example, one said that they admit 58% percent of their applicants. But on some of the profiles that I viewed, it said that the percentage was not reported, and I was wondering if that was a good or bad thing. I mean, is that school hard to get into, or easy to get into? Why have that not reported that?

It’s hardly the most important characteristic of a college, especially fashion school. Don’t worry about it.

Most of these data are self-reported by the schools. In other words, the sources you’re using to learn about the schools don’t go to a lot of work to find the info, they simply ask the schools.

So “not reported” simply means that the school officials left the question blank when they returned the forms. Really… they didn’t return the forms. Instead, most schools have fact sheets available that answer most of these questions, so they simply returned their fact sheet and it didn’t happen to have that info on it.

Anyway, I wouldn’t regard it as necessarily a sign of anything, good or bad. About the only bad sign in this statistic is if they report a really high acceptance rate, which indicates rather low standards. That said, anything below say 60% would be indicative of decent standards. Good luck with your applications!

If the college profile says the applicants is ‘not reported’ that means the principal or the headmaster wants more information of you. You need to fill in specific application forms by the deadline. It is not necessarily bad.

i’ve got been suspended distinctive circumstances. I believe you in theory, although, Yahoo! looks to think of that we are the troublemakers, and the set off-satisfied document-trolls are doing all of us a actual provider by means of reporting each and every question and answer that demonstrates even a modicum of humour. i actually and actually have confidence that this reporing crap could be dramatically curbed by means of doing a million of two issues (or, ideally, the two): a million. A 5 component penalty for reporting ANY question or answer. 2. A optimal of 5 comments filed consistent with account consistent with day. I comprehend this comes with issues. some human beings look to think of that if there became a penatly for reporting solutions, that no you could still ever document lower back and all varieties of terrible questions could seem. I relatively doubt it. If a consumer became asking a racist question (or another the two unsightly scenario) i could gladly area with 5 factors to document the question. specific, somebody could easily set up distinctive profiles just to document human beings. although, trolls thrive on reporting human beings simply by fact they are in a position to apply the comparable account indefinitely, in no way answering or asking a question. I heavily doubt the final public of them could put in the attempt. in the event that they did, properly, only think of what form of unhappy guy or woman lives a actual looking that and that i assure you will experience so lots extra effectual. Bah, enable’s have a drink and toast Microsoft. while they complete a damaging takeover of Yahoo, perhaps they are going to hearth all of us and hire people who don’t experience that unfastened-thinkers are devil.

It just means that the website that you’re looking at doesn’t know that information. The percentage of applicants admitted could be anything.
