If on a college profile, it says that the percent of applicants is ‘not reported’, is that good or bad?
Favorite Answer
So “not reported” simply means that the school officials left the question blank when they returned the forms. Really… they didn’t return the forms. Instead, most schools have fact sheets available that answer most of these questions, so they simply returned their fact sheet and it didn’t happen to have that info on it.
Anyway, I wouldn’t regard it as necessarily a sign of anything, good or bad. About the only bad sign in this statistic is if they report a really high acceptance rate, which indicates rather low standards. That said, anything below say 60% would be indicative of decent standards. Good luck with your applications!
