If I withdraw from a college class…?
I get financial aid, but at the point in the semester that only 50% would be refunded- do I have to pay back the financial aid?
Also, does a withdraw affect my GPA and look bad if I go to transfer? It will be my only withdraw (it’s at 8am, i’m destined to fail)

The class WILL show up on your transcript, but will have “W” or equivalent beside it and it will NOT affect your GPA. You have to pay back the financial aid if its a loan anyway. You should or should soon get a change check from the cashiers office from your university with the leftover amount. You will have to pay it back if it was a loan, as you have already gotten it, you’re just getting extra money in your pocket…for now. Let me know if you need anything else.

Withdrawls are not listed on your transcripts. and you would not have to pay back the financial aid that you get, they’d send you checks!
