If i transfer out of community college after one year….?
will i be missing out on anything..like getting an Associates degree..Or will it make me look like I couldn’t “start something and finish”..i hear that a lot.
I just want to transfer to the other school asap and get adjusted to the atmosphere.
(by the way, i know community college is a whole lot cheaper, but the transfer school i plan on going to is only about $1000 more in tuition because they are both CUNY schools)

No alot of people start in community college and transfer. You don’t need both an associates and a bachelors. I have both and employment agents always make me remove the associates – its useless if you have the bachelors.

An Associates Degree is not worth much unless it is in a field like cosmotology, or another that requires only an AA. Transferring to a four year school only raises your tuition and it gets you where you want to be sooner.

if u feel like it will be better move on to the other school but, be sure that at least some of the classes u took will transfe3r because if they were developmental courses like interm, algebra, classed preparing u for the eng 1 and 2 and etc. then it will look like u are a freshman and the other classes wont matter
but u wont be missing out on ne thing
go for it!!!

Do what your heart tells you is right. I would not worry about, what people think you can finish or not. They are not you. I think you will do just fine.
