I’m enrolled in an class right now that is extremely difficult for me (out of my major, out of my interest) and I was contemplating withdrawing from it, so I can focus my energy and time in acing my other four classes. Would it look better on my academic application to the new school if I withdrew from that class, but got excellent scores in my other ones? Or would it be better to stick it through to the end, and get a slightly lower GPA overall (since the class is really difficult)?
