i want to go into nursing but I only took 2 years of science at my high school?

Help! I’m graduating in may, and i want to go into nursing but I only took 2 years of science at my high school i but i have lots of experience in health care, i help take care of both my grandmother who has reumatoid arthritis, and my sister who has cerebral palsy, i administer her medication through a G- tube in her stomach. So i have lots of heath care experience. so will it be impossible for me to get in a nursing program. Please this is urgent I need help!

I do not think it is impossible. Try starting out at a community college. Community colleges usually offer programs that lead to becoming an RN. Since you didn’t take many science classes in high school a community college will offer you some of the remedial science courses that you will need to catch up. If you want a bachelors degree you can always try transfering after a year or two after you have taken some more science courses and proven that you can do science.

Take anatomy in case you pick to be a nurse. I additionally understand lots of medical doctors and nurses who majored in biology. pass with anatomy and chemistry, they are extra relating to nursing, while physics may well be applies in case you needed to be an engineer of a few type.
