I want to apply for an MS in electrical engineering…?
I have a totally unrelated degree from UCSC, and a 1210 on the GRE with 600 on the math. Do I have a chance of getting into a decent school if I studied more for the GRE?

It really depends upon your unrelated degree. If the major you took wasn’t very heavy in math you will need to make up a lot of courses before you will be eligible to take Master’s level electrical engineering courses.
The best way to find out your chances of getting in is to find a school that you’re interested in and check their admissions information online – or call a counselor.
