College Admissions?

The school I want to attend is classified as a “More Selective” school by the U.S. Newsweek..

What is an approximate SAT score range for schools in such category?

Thank you in advance for your feedback

Rather than try to guess from what we tell you, if you have a specific school in mind, go to their website and look up the class profile under the admissions section. They’ll usually give you the median SAT range; if it’s not there, contact the admissions department directly.

It depends on the school – each university has its own minimum acceptable standards.

Also, a higher score won’t guarantee a school’s increased interest. Admissions departments look at a range of scores and consider a range of other factors, such as grades, extracurricular activity, essays, and so on. They consider the whole student, not just the numbers.
