Nursing students…any tips on making it through!!!!?
my g/f just started nursing school. shes been through about 5-6 skills….4 classes…and today she started clinicals. She is overwhelmed between the classes and that she still works 24 hrs a week. ANY suggestions would help.

She needs to join a study group. It does not need to be a large group in fact smaller groups work better. About 4 people get together and divide the assigned reading. Each person only has to read 1/4 and then provides a summary to the others. You need to make sure the people in the group are going to do the reading and that their summaries are well written. The group should also study together right before a test in case someone has a question on one of the summary, then the person who wrote the summary is there to answer it.
As far as clinicals my best advice is to not ever miss one and to always volunteer to take on the sickest patient and always be ready to help your fellow students. This will demonstrate mature behavior and teamwork to the instructor.
As far as work. You need to take care of most if not all of the duties at home. Even if you do not live together, you need to make sure she has a meal when she gets home, you need to pack her a lunch, you need to do all the laundry, you need to wash all the dishes and keep her house clean. If she does not need to worry about these things in gives her more time to work and with less stress.

do you opt for to a thanks to address ingesting plenty? Or being a nurse? the first one is way less annoying to address, i might want to imagine. Being a nurse might want to be like having glass in my eyes each and every of the time. Is it like that for you? I propose you get the sufferers to drink too. And the different nurses. Then they received’t choose you so harshly that first time you stumble in inebriated to artwork.
