I study in college and don’t work?

Seriously I’m studying business. My classes are getting harder, so I’m afraid to get caught up in work. I haven’t worked in a long time. I last worked at grocery store, and had horrible experience there. I like to work in highly professional place if anything, but no one offers flexible hours.

P.S – Now that I attend bigger university I need more money than even financial aid offers.

It all depends on what skills you have. If you are confident enough in your field of expertise/what you are learning, take up an internship with a corporation affiliated with your university (most bigger ones have internships in variety of fields). If you can’t do so, you are stuck doing odd jobs until you get your degree.

Here is an advice from a graduate student: What you know is never enough to earn you respect. It’s what you do.
