I start my actual nursing classes on Monday. What should I wear? I have seen the other students walking?
around in scrubs (just regular ones that are colorful, not the uniform ones we wear to clinicals). Will I look foolish if I wear one of my old sets on the first day of class? I used to wear them to class when I was working that night.

Unless you were told otherwise, where whatever you want. If the classes are held at a hosptial, the class uniform would be appropriate, otherwise, just dress neatly. You will be given guidelines for dress at your first class (the local nursing program has the students vote on a uniform so that they will all look ‘uniform’ once they purchase the outfits.

in our university, we do not really care on what our schoolmates are wearing… so you can wear anything and no one will actually care.
in your case, it’s tertiary educ right? if the school’s an elite one, think about it first but if it’s a public or state university, then go ahead, wear what you want to.
