For science degrees, they will only care about your A-level scores. They won’t even look at your GCSE grades. The only exceptions are at Oxford and Cambridge, where you will need to interview, and perhaps to take a placement test (depending on the specific subject) to get an offer for A-level grades. Everywhere else, three A’s on the A-levels including certain specified A-levels is good enough. Remember that if you want to do physics, you need maths and physics at A-level.
