I need help picking a major for my bachelor’s degree!!! What to do?
I went to school for 3 years and was a double major in Life Sciences and Sociology. Well, I got tired of the chemistry and decided to take some time off of school to save up money and re-evaluate what I wanted to major in. Now I’m working but want to go back and finish school. The problem is, I still have no idea what to study. Does anyone know how (survey, counselor, etc.) to help with this decision?

Go back to your old high school and ask for an appointment to sit down with your old high school guidance counselor. Or, there may be some self-surveys you can take with employment agencies that will point out your strengths and weaknesses in varous areas, to show you which types of jobs would be best for your experience and talents. Your State Office Of Assistive and Rehabilitative Services can also help prepare you for a job, and help point you in the right direction. Find out where they are closest to where you live, and make an appointment to talk to them.

Maybe you could figure out some jobs you might like to have someday, and ask people with those jobs what they majored in.

Look into yourself for all these time that you have been studying and working, find your interest and start from there, and if your interest coinsides with your future financial expectation, you are lucky, if not, follow where your financial expectation lead you to.
