How much do books cost for your first semester of law school?

I’m getting ready to start my first semester of law school at the University of Kansas. Does anyone know what I can expect to pay for books? Ballpark is ok.

If you are about to attend law school you must have spent at least 4 years in college so far. You must know by now that it all depends on the courses you take and the professor’s preferences.

Also, you didn’t mention if you intend to use all new books, all used or some combination of new and used. That affects price as well.

As to your question, if you intend to buy all new books, then I’d expect to pay around $500 with a standard deviation of $125 based on the normal curve. (about 95% chance that it will cost from $250 to $750).

Why don’t you contact the U of K bookstore and ask them what to expect? It’s what a good lawyer would do. You will soon be researching 100s of things for your professors. Start practicing NOW.

Rule #1 for trial lawyers. Never ask a question without knowing what the answer will be.

Depends on if you’re utilizing the pell furnish for college and books or simply books. On typical, books are round $one hundred a work new. You can get them used or on-line as an alternative than the university’s bookstall. I might say books would rate you round $500 a semester convenient.
