When I was a residence hall president, I lived in “Foss Hall”. The theme for the hall that year was “Top Foss”, and they did a Top Gun theme. It is a hoot. You can do it with any residence hall name, really. Go crazy.

My hall council also looked at places like party planning websites, martha stewart, and current movies that were hot. One residence hall at my undergraduate institution is currently doing a Harry Potter theme (Hogwarts Hall, or something like that).
