A student is not a failure if he fails and then grows and becomes stronger. A student becomes a failure when the student accepts that he is a failure.

Not using all the resources avaliable to make your education easier and more productive. Not making friends in your area of education to increase social learning. Either not specializing in a specific field of study and doing better than everyone else or not building equally overall to have more smaller advantages than everyone else. Your in competition with everyone at your school and depending how good your school is your in competition with everyone from other schools.

Using the word “failure” is pejorative. I’d rather say the student didn’t find his/her sense of motivation or realize his/her potential or whatever.

People do what they can do at the time.

If he doesn’t learn anything. But, then again, that could mean the teacher is the failure.

Never attending classes

Never studies for tests

Always handing in assignments late whether complete or incomplete

Letting boys interfere and get them pregnant and dropping out until they start college again

A student. You are responsible for your own education and no one else.Parents pay and bla bla bla but only you can pick the fruit.
