Honestly, Amanda, retake that ACT. If you’re in AP classes, that ACT score should be up above 28. Get it up into the 30 range and you’re talking mega-scholarships. You’re not going to get squat with a 20, and I bet you could do a lot better on it.

You’ll get into MSU on all other accounts, would like to see a slightly higher GPA, try to pull it up just a little this year, but that ACT score is just not gonna fly. It might get you into MSU, but you’re not going to get the first scholarship dollar with it.

Most likely no. With at gpa maybe. But with an act of 20 no. Some of my friends had a 3.0 gpa but a 28act and got in. Just retake your act.

I think you may be fine, honey, but please react your ACT. It’s not horrible, but it’s not competitive enough for great scholarships and honors program opportunities. Don’t sell yourself short. If you feel that you can do better, which I am sure you can, please take it again and increase your opportunities for more free money. Your GPA seems nice, but I could advise you to increase that as well to at least a 3.2. Your stats are good the way they are, but I think you can improve on those.

You should have a career counselor at your school that can help you. Otherwise contact the school to have your question answered by someone credible.
