I heard in college an A+ is a 4.33, is this true?
I’m in community college and I’m debating whether or not to do the extra credit, if I do, I can get an A+ (100+% in the class). I read somewhere this would show as a 4.33 and I got one B in college so this would make be have a 4.0 again.
So the question is, is a A+ really a 4.33?

In my experience an A+ shows up just like and A and to my knowledge both are just 4.0 and nothing higher in college. i know that in AP classes in high school an A+ is higher than a 4.0 so maybe somebody was getting confused.

Same as everyone else – it must depend on the school but I have never heard of that. A B+ is a 3.33 at some schools, C+ a 2.33 etc., but never seen that distinguishment between an A and A+.
And if you are transferring to another school, it is doubtful they will count the A+ as a 4.33 but instead a 4.0. What a headache for some poor transfer coordinator, but that’s not your problem.

i have never heard of a school awarding anything higher then a 4.0 which is a A the highest grade you can get. If the offer a 4.33 i would assume the college is not accredited

Depends on your college. Some will grade on that scale and many are moving in that direction (this is known as grade inflation). Some will keep it at a strict 4.0 which usually means no A+’s.

maximum employers look at regardless of in case you have a level, no longer the variety you got it. it truly is lots greater value-effective to flow to a 2 3 hundred and sixty 5 days college and earn your associate degree before occurring to earn your Bachelor’s at a 4 3 hundred and sixty 5 days college. each now and then a 2 3 hundred and sixty 5 days degree from a community college can be maximum usual because of the fact there is greater concentration on your significant.

An A+ and an A are both 4.0
If both of your classes are weighted equally, a 4.3 still wouldn’t bring you up to a 4.0. A B is a 3.0.

It probably depends on the college…at my college, an A+ was only a 4.0

Not at the college that I went to. 4.0 was an A+ or an A-.

In college, an A is an A is an A.
There is no grade inflation or distinction between one letter grade and another.
As it should be.
