It sucks, but if you don’t do it now you’ll be worse off. At least you have a chance to make up for messing around in High School. You can always look for another community college where you’d feel more comfortable. Just make sure you do well, so you can transfer to a good school.

I do not know if your problems lie with the students or your academic work. I went to CC when I was in high school myself, and can relate to the retards you talk about.

What I did to get by was take night classes. This reduces the retards tremendously but requires more attention span than day classes and more info crammed in one session.

Community college is open to everyone – literally.

If you managed to go to a 4 year school without taking the SAT (some states only care about the ACT or SAT), then I also understand the retards you talk about. Alot of kids in college are just there too party, although if you’re this deep at a 4-year, most of the partying is usually out of the system, especially the senseless sex-crazed alcohol-drug combo BS.

No matter, if you are going to a “top university”, odds are you were put on the right track to begin with. If its just the students you worry about, ignore them.

If academics is bothering you, you may not be at the right school for you. Some CC students do not like the hands-on application they’re given and prefer to immense themselves in deep reading and discussions, as in a 4 year.

If you’re already at a 4 year, you may need to find one either with more indivdualized attention or whatever it is you’re looking for.

But it sounds like you just may need to stay where you’re at. I could help you more if you email me, but I dunno. You do not want to become lower than these retards.

Although what do I know. Bill Gates dropped out of Harvard and became America’s richest man, and former World’s richest man. Colleges gave him honorary degrees, and he’s a really big Philanthropist or however it’s spelled.

OMG, i feel the exact same way, i swear bro i fucin hate college too, the whole concept of it, wakign up and going everyday, i jsut feel liek i rather die. but then i look at my friends who have a well paying job now and stayed with the job out of highschool and didnt go to college. it seems liek a good idea, but when i look down teh line of their future, being way older and workign where they are now, they would be a total loser because how hold theey are and where there workign jsut looks lame and wow, they did nothiogn with there life. and ill be rich at that time when they will be in their lame job thats full of high school kids working where they used to be. College is so gay and i come close to droppign out, but im holding on. try to hold on bro, i know u get this alot, but itll be worth it in teh end proably.

i think you should just stick it out until you can transfer…unless you can go about some other way of getting into the university faster. it might not look good if you drop out of school now simply because you dont’ like it.

not to be mean or anything but you said so yourself that you “didn’t care” when you were in high school…so you kind of did it to yourself when you made that decision.
