the pass/fail does not count towards your gpa. but to figure out your gpa all you have to do is take the credit hours for each class and multiply with the grade you get. if you get an A its 4, B-3, C-2, D-1, F-0. once you multiply, add up the numbers then you will divide by the total number of credit hours. for exaple i take a 4 credit hour class and a 2 credit hour class. i get a B in the 4 hour class and an A in the 2 hour class. so thats 3*4=12 and 4*2=8. then 12+8=20 then 20/6=3.33 gpa. the 6 is adding up the total credit hours…hope that helps

Pass/fail classes do not count toward the GPA. To calculate your GPA, you must multiply the number of credit hours by the grade you got in the class. For example if you got a B in a 3-credit hour class, you do 3 x 3 = 9. Do this for each class you have taken and then divide it by the total number of hours you have taken. That will give you the GPA.

A=4
B=3
C=2
D=1
F=0
So lets say you took 5 classes and got 2 c’s and 3 a’s:
2+2+4+4+4=16 then you divide by how many classes to took:
16/5=3.20
