How much does highlighting change the value of a textbook?

when I resell it on eBay or Amazon?

Yes it does change the value of the textbook. If you bought a brand new textbook and never opened it up or messed with it in anyway you could get a good price for it on those sites, however if you used it then, the value automatically goes down, even if you never wrote or highlighted in the book. Even the simple act of opening the book to read it and carrying it around with you makes the book less valuable. I suggest selling your textbooks on sites such as campusbooks. com or ecampus.com. Both sites will tell you the value of your book before you post it, depending on its condition.

When you have a used work book, it’s reduced value halts the information, and is less reliable to anyone, except the original editor. A highlighted bible would influence interpertation. To resell would be the option taken by a careless person, but to donate to young inquisitive by hand, that you can explain your remarks there-in, would be noble.
