how long is a “year” of college?
I’m in my first semester, I’m just curious. Lets say I’m taking a chemistry course, would two semesters be ONE year of Chemistry? or is it 4 semesters make a year of something? I know it seems like a simple question, but I’m just curious.

a typical college year is split into 2 semesters, with the whole ‘year’ being (usually) september to may. your college might be on a trimester system, though, so you should double check to be sure.

A year of college is generally considered to be two semesters. However, a year of college chemistry is twice as much as you get in a year of chemistry in high school (or just about any other subject, for that matter).
