Not sure about AHA. Why not an American Red Cross certificate? You can get it in a day or two. Depends on how the chapter does it. I got mine in 4 days because I took it while in nursing school, so you go more in-depth as a professional rescuer.

Go to the red cross, the class contains CPR, First Aid and blood borne pathogens (really important, unless you want other peoples diseases) in about 7 hours. Your work should pay for it.

you can do it online in a couple of hours, or else go to red cross or your local hospital and you can get it in one day (usually takes like 7 hours)
