What should I major to work in Pharmaceutical career?
If I want to work in pharmaceutical field (inventing new drugs etc) what should I major? Chemistry or bio-chemistry ? Do I need to go to grad. school?

Chemistry or biochemistry would be good options.
And yes, you are likely going to need to go to graduate school.

Or, you could find a College with a Pharmacology or Pharmaceutical Sciences program, which will combine Chem and Bio courses with Pharmacology courses
You will more than likely need at least a Master’s Degree in Chem, Bio, BioChem, or Pharmacology.
Another route is to go through Pharmacy School. Getting your PharmD degree will open up many research and development opportunities for you…maybe even more so than Chem, Bio, or BioChem

You will probably need to have a Masters to get into the field and a Doctorate to get very far.
