Most colleges that offer this program usually have no more than two seats available for each class. The spots are highly competitive and you will need excellent grades, great SAT/ACT, and some medical experience such as shadowing doctors or hospital volunteer work will go a long way too. However, if you get into these programs, you will probably be required to carry a high G.P.A, and still take the MCAT and get decent scores. I looked into this program at SUNY Stony Brook, and it sounded very hard to get into. The program is usually 8 years.
