Generally each quarter consists of 10 weeks of classes and one week for finals. There are three quarters peryear and one quarter in the summer for those who want to extend their year. The classes are essentially the same as the semester classes. Have a wonderful year.

PS… Quarter-hour classes may be switched to semester-hour classes by multiplying 2/3 of your quarter hours.

Kind of like high school… When I had the quarter system at my college, we went to every class every day for an hour. We went to school all year long with 2 week breaks in between quarters (yes, even in the summer). I don’t regret it because it was a good adjustment from HS to college.
